Pre-Marital Counseling
Pre-marital counseling prep work is very beneficial to set up boundaries and resolve conflicts before they even start!
Many churches offer pre-marital counseling, and I have heard mixed reviews on the effectiveness.
As a therapist, I want to help couples to PREVENT difficult times and divorce BEFORE those problems start!
I will give a detailed assessment, name the potential pitfalls work though them, & help the couple thrive as they start their lives together!
Couples Therapy
I work with couples and families on a variety of concerns.
It could be pre-marital counseling prep work to set up boundaries and resolve conflicts before they even start!
It could be difficulty negotiating the load with chores and communication issues.
Feeling unloved, unseen, disrespected, misunderstood

Something like betrayal, affairs, addictions of gambling, pornography, substances.
I have specialized training and experience in addictions as well as betrayal trauma and recovery, including the planning of a Full Disclosure.

How We Love - Using Attachment-Based Therapy
I have been privileged to partner with New Life Ministries since 2017 when I joined as a Counselor in their network.
Since that time I have sat under the amazing teaching of Milan and Kay Yerkovich who wrote How We Love (Book & Workbook), in the Intimacy in Marriage Weekend Intensives.
Though they have since retired, the weekends continue under other skilled, gifted, & talented therapists.
I use this material as a way to assess needs of the couple, and teach ways to communicate with one another to build Intimacy.
